About Military Aircraft Tracker

What We Track

Our platform monitors a curated database of high-interest aircraft including presidential and VIP transports, reconnaissance and surveillance platforms (Oxcart program), special operations aircraft, military gunships, Coast Guard and border patrol, and government executive jets. Each aircraft is categorized by priority level for efficient monitoring.

Data Sources

Real-time position data is sourced from the ADSB.One network, a global community-driven ADS-B receiver network. Aircraft identification comes from the open-source Plane Alert database, enhanced with additional imagery and operator information. Location data is manually curated from public sources. Images are primarily from Wikipedia/Wikimedia Commons, and external links point to Wikipedia articles and Google Maps.

What We Curate

Beyond raw data, we maintain curated databases of aircraft images, detailed type specifications with OSINT-relevant sensor information, and a growing collection of sensitive locations with geofencing capabilities. All content focuses on publicly observable aircraft using ADS-B transponders.

Open Source

Military Aircraft Tracker is an open-source project built for the OSINT community. The codebase, aircraft database, and location data are all available for inspection, contribution, and improvement. We believe in transparency and community-driven intelligence gathering.

Community Driven

Help us improve the platform! Report inaccuracies, suggest new aircraft for the database, propose sensitive locations, or contribute code. Every contribution makes the tracker more valuable for the OSINT community.

Feature requests, bug reports, and data corrections are all welcome.
